Before I post the solicit, can I just point out that the solicits are now up to #35, the book is only confirmed to #36, the post-CW plotline's all about seperating Cable & Deadpool, Axel Alonso's openly talking about getting an ongoing [solo] Cable series running and we haven't heard anything about a renewal.
I think things are looking bleak here....
CABLE & DEADPOOL #35 Written by FABIAN NICIEZA Penciled by REILLY BROWN Cover by TOM RANEY The divorce is final, and now come the bitter recriminations. But where DEADPOOL is concerned, that means dredging up the ghosts of every person he’s ever KILLED -- and trying to understand WHY he did it and how he FELT about it -- that’s right, Wade must confront his MANLY FEELINGS of MAYHEM! The agony might very well prove too much... but what does Deadpool do if the only person capable of getting these ghosts out of his head is the person responsible for putting them there...? 32 PGS./Rated T+ ...$2.99

You bring up good points Somebody. It stands to reason that this book will be ending at 36. If so...what a run it's had! But I'm still hoping we get the greenlight for more issues!
As for the summary and cover, I like the cover, which is surprising cuz I don't normally like Tom Raney. The issue summary sounds really good. I think this will be very interesting.

Well, if they do cancel it, I hope DP and Cable do get their own ongoing series again. #35 sounds like it's going to be fairly similar to some of the soul searching issues of Deadpool we've had in the past. It looks very good. ^_^

I think it's a good sign that they got Tom Raney to do a cover, he's pretty high profile, getting gigs on stuff like the X-Books and Ultimate line, and the cover isn't bad, though I prefir Zircher and Brooks. I'm starting to worry about the book's future too.
Can anyone identify all the people on the cover? I see Death, Makeshift, Rive, an Ultimatum trooper, a US Soldier (from "Sticky Situations", no doubt), a Clown (from "Enema of the State pt 1), a Dark Rider (from the Blood of Apocalypse prequel), a Chinese warrior (from Passion of the Cable/Burnt Offering pt 1), (notice everyone on this cover seems to be people who appeared in C&D? I was hoping Fabian would explore more of Deadpool's entire history, not just that of his book, but he tends to keep to the continuity of his own books most of the time) who are the last two characters?

Could one possibly be Weasel, plus one of those snaky females ?
Yeah, it doesn't look good beyond #36, however, we've been wrong before. Axel whatsisname said that the Cable ongoing probably wouldn't appear for some time so, obviously, they need to keep going with this

Being in the x-men books and having his own solo series out in the future, I think Cable has a promising future for himself. But what about Deadpool?
I guess they will have him visit Cable's book once and a while.
What is going to happen to this website where all the cable and deadpool fans come together to talk? Should we go our seperate ways?

I think a big thing is still trying to support each other's characters, is this is indeed the end. I may be prodominantly a Cable fan, and I will get all his appearances no matter what he's in, but if this book is cancelled, I will still support Cable AND Deadpool, no matter what he's in too. Hopefully all the fans will feel the same way, whether you be a Cable fan or a Deadpool fan, we need to help each other so as to not see our respective characters be pushed to the side again. Sure there's talk about a Cable ongoing...but it's just talk. We've heard a lot of things in the past, only to see nothing come of it. Until I read a solicitation for a Cable book, I'm not convinced that it's going to happen.
So whether or not anybody else will do this, or whether you feel that supporting both characters is something we should all do, then maybe they both have a fighting chance of being back in the limelight as formidable chararacters in the MU oncemore. But the numbers need to stay consistent as to show that no matter where they put either of these characters, the fans will follow.
Well, now that I got that out of my system, let's hope that this book doesn't get cancelled and we get an announcement shortly that it has been renewed for another 12 issues!

I'll be honest. I never really cared for Cable at all before CDP. Now, I'd definitely pick up a Cable comic if they came out with one. I still won't buy an X-Men comic, even if he does show up. (I have my principles, ya know. ^_^)

Don't fret or sweat about CDP gang.
I'm breaking down the very Deadpool-centric storyline that will run from #36-39 right now...
... that's right, we're good to go for another year (at least) and we'll kick it off with a focus on Deadpool and the return of some of his old friends (and enemies) in a story tentatively titled, "Unfinished Business."
The book is still called Cable & Deadpool. Whatever other insanity is going on around them elsewhere, this is still their cozy little home...

Cool, thanks for letting us know Fabian!
Good news indeed, although I'd like more Cable ;p #25 was the best issue of the series I think.

That's great news Fabian! I'm very much looking forward to what you have planned! Keep up the excellent work and I hope we get to see you do an interview (CBR usually handles those) shortly to hear the details about the future of C&DP!

Fabian, if you see this, some of us at the Thunderbolts Message Board and at Comixfan forums are very concerned over news of your departure from Thunderbolts...

please confirm or deny this news...
Having said that, I'm very pleased that Cable & Deadpool is okay for the forseeable future. Thanks for the good news

That's a cozy home? Dear lord! Glad to hear the books is good for now, it's still one of the best month to month. I hope to see the series take on a little more character and a little less 'Cable from the behind' stuff. But if Cable gets an ongoing series DP should too, it's only fair.
And dinner is ready!
